Two candidate visits are happening in Winterset this week, and all Madison County residents are welcome and encouraged to attend!
As we’ve been planning for a few weeks, Cindy Axne will be at home of Alan and Julie Feirer on Tuesday, September 11th (tomorrow!) from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Axne is our 3rd District Congressional candidate running against David Young, and this race is HOT. Even if you’ve met Cindy already, which is likely (because she’s done such a great job of getting out and meeting people for well over a year), be sure to stop by and show your support as she heads into the final weeks of the campaign. The address is 1128 W. Jefferson, Winterset.
And… this just in!… If you haven’t had a chance to meet Fred Hubbell, our Democratic candidate for governor, here is your chance. Fred Hubbell will be at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Winterset on Thursday, September 13th from 5:45 to 6:45 pm. Come and hear the Hubbell-Hart plan for Iowa’s future. The address is 1304 N. 4th Ave. in Winterset (near Fareway and Union State Bank).
Let’s greet both of these candidates with a large crowd and show them that the Madison County Democrats and friends have mobilized and mean business! See you there.
Madison County Campaign Headquarters
Our headquarters office at the fairgrounds is open upon request at this time. Regular office hours will begin on September 25th, at which time the office will be open from 5:00 to 7:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays as well as 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays and 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Sundays.
